Tourism enterprises and entrepreneurs from the Vaasa and neighbouring regions met in Vaasa

The Spotlight High-Low Coast project organized an event in Vaasa for tourism enterprises and entrepreneurs from the Vaasa Region and neighbouring regions on October 24th. The main theme of the event was internationalization. Marianne Sjöström, Project Leader for Spotlight High-Low Coast at the Kvarken Council, presented the various product packages that have been created in the said World Heritage project and told of the planned measures.

The Spotlight High-Low Coast project is funded by the EU through the INTERREG Botnia-Atlantica programme. The cross-border World Heritage and tourism project aims to create product packages and marketing materials in order to attract more tourists to the High Coast/Kvarken Archipelago World Heritage Site and its surrounding regions in a sustainable way. The project is due to end on May 31st, 2018.
