Do you plan to visit EnergyWeek in week 11? Come and see VAASA WIND EXCHANGE & SOLAR in stand 6A!
The project E12 Atlantica Transport was granted funding by the European Regional Development Fund last December. The project now steps forward and presents itself in EnergyWeek’s VAASA WIND EXCHANGE & SOLAR event on 15–16 March. Information about KvarkenPorts, NLC Vaasa and Midway Alignment is also available in the stand. Visitors are informed about the improvements and measures being planned in the Kvarken region and along the E12 route.
- This really is an excellent opportunity to present our infrastructure project and regional crossborder cooperation in the field of logistics. We will have the chance to build up networks and answer the questions of our interest groups and, at the same time, get up-to-date facts about their experiences and requirements. Logistics and infrastructure must keep up with development and, consequently, an ongoing dialogue with industry is absolutely vital, says Anna Måtts, logistics expert at Vasek and project manager in Finland of E12 Atlantica Transport.
This will be the fifth EnergyWeek. Last year it attracted over 3200 visitors and nearly 100 exhibitors. EnergyWeek is expanding from year to year and consists of several events. New events for this year include e.g. Vaasa Gas Exchange (VGE). Vaasa Wind Exchange & Solar is one of the events.
E12 Atlantica Transport is a cooperation project between partners in Finland, Sweden and Norway along the E12 corridor, focusing on a functional transport route for goods and passengers, joint strategies for cross-border planning and future cooperation structures.
The European Regional Development Fund covers circa 60% of the project funding via the Botnia-Atlantica programme. The Kvarken Council is the project’s main partner.
