The Kvarken Council EGTC’s first annual general meeting was held at the end of May\u00a02021. The annual general meeting discussed statutory matters and elected a Chairman and Deputy Chairmen. The presidium was expanded from the Kvarken Council’s association times from two to four: one Chairman and three Deputy Chairmen.<\/strong><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ _builder_version=”4.9.1″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” width=”90%” max_width=”1280px”][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.9.1″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.7″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat”]<\/p>\n Ms Anna-Kaisa Pusa<\/strong>, Mayor of the town of Kurikka, is one of the new Deputy Chairmen. Ms Pusa became a Board member on 2\u00a0October\u00a02020 when the Kvarken Council EGTC held its founding meeting. The participation of the South Ostrobothnian town of Kurikka in the creation of a Nordic future together with others is a great opportunity. Sweden is often the first step towards foreign markets for our companies, and on the way they find the strength to begin exports to other European countries.<\/p>\n – In addition, the E12 is an immensely important Nordic and European route and of great importance to the economic life and export industry.We’re close to one another, and my aim is to promote good logistical connections over the Kvarken so that distances can be reduced even further.Together we’re stronger.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_testimonial][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.7″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat”]<\/p>\n Ms \u00c5sa \u00c5gren Wikstr\u00f6m<\/strong>, Vice Chairman of Region V\u00e4sterbotten’s Regional Development Committee, has been a Board member already before the Kvarken Council was reorganized from an association to an EGTC (European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation).
