Styrke is predicted to become the next international pop queen of Sweden, and she\u2019s currently on tour with the world star MARINA in the US and Canada.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u2013 The artist set-up will soon be ready. It will for sure be a folk festival, and an awesome cavalcade of artists both from Sweden and Finland, says <\/span>Fredrik Furu<\/span><\/b>, the event coordinator for Kvarkenfest.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u2013 We\u2019re proud to say that we now have both an Idol winner, and a winner of the Voice of Finland from the Kvarken region among the artists at Kvarkenfest. Lisa Miskovsky and BESS are also participating in Melodifestivalen and UMK this year which makes this spring even more exciting, says\u202f<\/span>Mr Mathias Lindstr\u00f6m<\/span><\/b>, Director of the Kvarken Council.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The musical star Jennie Storbacka, and the young pop talent Alva Elle, are also ready to perform at the festival. They perform as soloists together with Kvarken Allstars, which is a unique composition only for Kvarkenfest.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Kvarken Council and the formal cooperation between Finland and Sweden in the Kvarken region celebrates its 50<\/span>th<\/span> anniversary this year, and therefore Kvarkenfest is arranged. In addition, the festival will be organised on the same day as the running and wellbeing event Vaasa Run, which is organized by Vasa Idrottss\u00e4llskap (Vasa IS). Over 2,000 runners with different exercise backgrounds are expected to participate.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n FamilyFun activity area for the whole family\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n There will be built an activity area for the whole family outside of the Stadion, that consist of Folkh\u00e4lsans obstacle course, Street art workshops, and the popular bungy trampoline by Hopsis, among other things. \u201cKidz Run\u201d will also be held here. It\u2019s a race for kids below school age, and all participants will get a medal, juice, and a balloon.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u2013 There will also be a change to get acquainted with a fire truck and a police motorcycle. There is also a dog show, a hobby horse track, and the BUU-klubben stamp will also visit the event, says <\/span>Jannica Granbacka<\/span><\/b>, the event manager for Vaasa Run.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Fredrik Furu promises that there will be entertainment all day from the forenoon until after midnight. <\/span> There will be locally produced food and drinks that can be bought on the festival area.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Only 5\u20ac for a festival ticket<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n An entrance fee to Kvarkenfest is only 5\u20ac if you book your ticket in advance from Netticket. The first artist that will perform is the humour group KAJ at 15 PM, and after that there will be performances until after midnight, says Furu.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>– BESS is a singer from Helsinki, that published her debut album 2019.<\/span>\u00a0
<\/span>– Her music is a combination of electric pop music and house.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0
<\/span>– This year BESS will participate in the \u201cUuden Musiikin Kilpailu\u201d, which is the Finnish preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest. She will compete with the song \u201dRam pam pam\u201d, which is currently number one both on the singles chart in Finland, and on the Finnish Spotify chart.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
<\/span>– <\/span><\/b>Lisa Miskovsky, who origins from Ume\u00e5, is one of Sweden\u2019s most established artists and songwriters. She has written for instance a world hit for Backstreet Boys.<\/span>\u00a0
<\/span>– Miskovsky, who has a Finnish mum, will participate in Melodifestivalen 19<\/span>th<\/span> of February 2022, the Swedish preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest, with the song \u201cBest to come\u201d.<\/span>\u00a0
<\/span>– She has sold over 200\u202f000 albums, won two Grammis trophies, and five Rockbj\u00f6rnen trophies.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
<\/span>– The rock band Elonkerjuu, from the Finnish speaking Ostrobothnia, became first known as Lauri T\u00e4hk\u00e4 & Elonkerjuu but has after that gone their own way, and sold gold, platinum and quatro platinum. Besides that, they have also won several Emma awards.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
