So far, around 30 international tour operator representatives have visited the region within the project\u2019s framework. The outcome? Approximately 15 round trips have been developed, extended, or refined as a direct result of BCR activities.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>To name a couple of European tour operators having created a travel production to the region \u2013 <strong>Noorderhuis<\/strong> (Belgium) and <strong>Fjordkind-Reisen<\/strong> (Germany) \u2013 are currently creating new round trips in direct collaboration with local service providers. They have experienced the cooperation as smooth, professional, and fruitful \u2013 a strong starting point for long-term cooperation. Both tour operators used the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bothniancoastalroute.com\">BCR marketing website<\/a> to plan their itineraries, and their feedback confirms its value as a practical tool for finding and selecting services.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/noorderhuis.travel\/reis\/roadtrip-langs-de-verborgen-kustroute-van-zweden-en-finland\">Roadtrip langs de verborgen kustroute van Zweden en Finland \u2013 Noorderhuis<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/fjordkind-reisen.de\/urlaub\/skandinavien-rundreise\/sommer-am-bottnischen-meer\/\">Sommer am Bottnischen Meer \u2013 Fjordkind-Reisen<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Meanwhile, the project is entering the <strong>UK market<\/strong> \u2013 a high-potential area where Nordic nature, cultural heritage and a milder summer climate are increasingly sought after. Early engagement is already showing results: <em>Discover the World<\/em> and <em>Regent Holidays<\/em>, two of the UK\u2019s leading niche travel companies, have started product development in the BCR region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dWith growing interest from operators in Germany, Belgium, and now the UK, we\u2019re entering a new phase. The Bothnian Coastal Route is gaining visibility as a sustainable and unique Nordic summer alternative \u2013 and we\u2019re just getting started,\u201d says <strong>Jaana Sirki\u00e4<\/strong>, Project Leader at city of Kalajoki, one of the partners of the project.<\/p>\n<p>With rising demand for sustainable, nature-based travel, the <em>Bothnian Coastal Route<\/em> is emerging as the Nordic summer alternative.
