Vuosina 2023\u20132025 k\u00e4ynniss\u00e4 oli rajat ylitt\u00e4v\u00e4 Bothnian Coastal Route -yhteisty\u00f6hanke, jossa 13 Per\u00e4meren rannikolla sijaitsevaa matkakohdetta yhdistiv\u00e4t voimansa matkailun edist\u00e4miseksi. Yhteisty\u00f6t\u00e4 jatketaan nyt uuden hankkeen muodossa. Bothnian Coastal Tourism jatkaa matkailun kehitt\u00e4mist\u00e4 alueella aikaisemman BCR-hankkeen tuloksiin nojaten. Hankkeen tavoitteena on vahvistaa Per\u00e4meren ymp\u00e4ri kulkevaa rannikkoreitti\u00e4 yhten\u00e4isen\u00e4 ja vierailuvalmiina rajat ylitt\u00e4v\u00e4n\u00e4 matkakohteena.
