Apply for membership in the Kvarken Council EGTC

Granting of membership

Public legal entities/organizations that wish to promote the Kvarken Council’s purpose and that comply with the first paragraph of Article 3 of Regulation (EU) No 1302/2013 may be approved as members of the Kvarken Council EGTC 

Membership is granted by the Board by a unanimous decision upon application, at which point the membership category is also determined. The membership is definitively established after a national authority has approved the notification of entry.

Membership fees

Regions, counties, and municipalities pay an annual fee based on their population base and Board representation. The membership fee for the subsequent period of operations is determined annually by the regular annual meeting or founding meeting. Contact us for more information about our membership fees.

The Kvarken Council’s members

• The Kvarken Council’s Annual General Meeting is the organisation’s decision-making body.
• The association is registered with the Finnish Patent and Registration Office.
• The association’s Statutes are its steering document.
