Why sustainability is important for us?

09:00 / 10:00 Travel Trade request for sustainable suppliers

In the panel discussion we will evolve around themes within sustainable travel from the tour operators’ point of view. We focus on the main reasons for choosing sustainable travel trade products and how product development should include sustainability in creating new touring routes around the Bothnian bay.

How are sustainable products and destinations communicated about in the tour operator sales? Are travellers seeking sustainable travel solutions or are they educated by the tour operators in the importance of sustainable travel? In addition to environmentally sustainable values, how is cultural heritage looked upon in terms of sustainability.

Three tour operators with main focus on travel to the Nordic countries will come together to reflect on sustainability in the destinations and services.
